digatus receives M&A Transaction Advisory Award 2024

Munich, July 17, 2024 – digatus is pleased to announce that it has won the prestigious M&A Transaction Advisory Award 2024. The coveted recognition was awarded at the annual M&A Summit of the German Mergers & Acquisitions Association (BM&A) in Munich.

On July 11, 2024, the award ceremony took place at the Isarpost in Munich, where outstanding achievements in the field of mergers & acquisitions were honored. The event, which is known for its high reputation, focuses on strategically well thought-out and successfully implemented M&A transactions.

The M&A Award aims to highlight the positive aspects and successes of M&A transactions. Criteria such as synergy effects, sustainable corporate changes, employee integration and acquisition context are evaluated, which thoroughly validate and assess the individual deals and nominees by means of interviews, questionnaires and peer reviews.

The awards are presented in two categories. Firstly, the awards for outstanding corporate transactions in various categories, followed by the awards for consulting firms. These are divided into the categories M&A Advisory, M&A Legal Advisory and M&A Transaction Advisory.

The carve-outprogram of CordenPharma, a leading full-service CDMO, successfully completed by digatus this year, was awarded the M&A Transaction Advisory Award 2024.

Thanks to targeted support from digatus in defining the future architecture, the associated migration concepts and end-to-end management, CordenPharma was transferred to independent operation faster than planned, saving over three months of TSA runtime and more than EUR 1 million in IT costs. The clear project structure and consistent management ensured efficiency, transparency and a smooth adaptation to the needs of the new medium-sized company, enabling a seamless transition and optimal added value.

"We are proud of this award, which underlines the expertise and commitment of our team," says Christoph Pscherer. "Special thanks go to Dirk Suetterlin and Peter Buchmueller for their trust in our analysis and planning."
