Junior Software Developer
After completing your studies or vocational training, you will join us as a Junior Software Developer (m/f/d) and get to know software development in a modern, technology-driven company. Depending on your specialisation, you will work with experienced colleagues on client projects. A Junior at our company has 0+ years of professional experience in development, and training remains the main focus. As a backend developer (m/f/d), for example, you will work on REST or GraphQL APIs and deploy them using Jenkins in Azure, Kubernetes & Co. In addition to development, you will also become familiar with other project activities, such as documentation, requirements engineering, architecture, consulting, etc.

Software Developer
As a Software Developer (m/f/d), your core task is software development. You already have sufficient experience to implement features independently and to support Junior Software Developers (m/f/d) and working students (m/f/d) when issues arise. You understand code quality, proactively keep an eye on it, train other team members accordingly, and keep projects technically up to date. You also support the further development of and consulting for our clients.

Senior Software Developer
As a Senior Software Developer (m/f/d), you are directly responsible for the successful delivery of projects. Requirements analysis is now one of your main tasks; this also includes actively advising the client and jointly evaluating alternative approaches. You ensure that the software adequately solves the problem. In addition to technological responsibility, you also take on professional team leadership and are therefore responsible for successful collaboration within the team and with the client.

Lead Developer
As a Lead Developer (m/f/d), you not only develop individual projects and large-scale projects, but are also responsible for the strategic direction of digatus technology. This includes further developing our development, process and project framework, identifying technological trends and maintaining partner relationships. Your role is also characterised by revenue responsibility. You represent digatus technology at events, take on speaking slots, inspire new clients and continuously and proactively develop our existing clients. You also take on the professional leadership of the entire business unit and foster the strengths of individual team members.

Your start in professional life
We are looking for the talents of tomorrow and regularly strengthen our team with working students, interns and dual students (f/m/d). You are also welcome to write a bachelor’s or master’s thesis with us at any time, please get in touch using the contact form!
School students
After finishing school, you can complete vocational training with us as an IT specialist (w/m/d) for application development or a dual study programme in Business Informatics. You can find open training and study positions in our careers portal from the end of September of the previous year. You will learn how to model complex systems and processes and acquire the fundamentals of software development. This includes, among other things, object-oriented programming, app development, version control, requirements analysis, unit testing, user interface design and much more. Thanks to the block model, in addition to the theoretical foundations you will benefit above all from varied development projects that you support during your practical phases, where you can apply and deepen the knowledge you have acquired.

Initial Interview / Culture Talk

Second interview with technical interview
The first meeting went great – we invite you to a second meeting with the department (usually on-site, alternatively virtual).
In a technical interview with colleagues from the specialist department, we will give you a few programming tasks and discuss technologies you are familiar with. This will give you a good insight into how we work technologically at digatus and you will get to know part of the team.
