Successful Completion of Our First Asset Deal!

We Are Very Pleased About the Successful Completion of the First Asset Deal as Part of Our Buy&Build Strategy. Effective March 1, 2021, We Are Taking Over the 'Infrastructure and Network Support' Business Unit of PRODYNA SE, Which Is Exclusively Located in Augsburg, Including the Employees Employed There, and Will Serve the Customers Belonging to This Business Unit in the Future.
A Perfect Fit – Why Did We Decide on This Asset Deal?

PRODYNA – ‘Augsburg Exotic in the Portfolio’The Team of Over 400 Employees of the Asset Deal Partner PRODYNA SE Is a Pan-European IT Consulting Company That Primarily Advises Multinational Medium-Sized Businesses and Corporate Companies on Their Digitalization Projects. For Almost Two Decades, PRODYNA Has Been Supporting With Innovations, Strategy, Custom Software, and All Related Management Processes.

The Augsburg Business Unit ‘Infrastructure and Network Support’, Which Joined PRODYNA in 2017 and Operates Exclusively in the ‘Church & Welfare’ Market Segment, Was an ‘Exotic’ Within the PRODYNA Portfolio, Existing Only at the Augsburg Location and Serving Local Customers from This Segment.

Due to the Local Limitation of the Augsburg Business Unit Within the Portfolio, It Made Sense for Both the Employees and the Company to Integrate This Business Unit Into a Locally Based IT Service Provider That Has Defined the ‘Church & Welfare’ Industry Focus as a Growth Market for Itself, Already Has a Broad and Diversified Customer Base There, and Brings the Necessary Scalability for the Augsburg Market.

“After 26 Years of Intensive Customer Support and Accompanying Them Into the Digital Age, I Am Glad and Confident to Have Found a Successor in Digatus Who Will Continue to Serve the Customers to Their Complete Satisfaction. We Thank You for the Partnership Discussions and Look Forward to Expanding the Collaboration in Other Business Areas With the Digatus Group.”

Digatus – Buy&Build

As Part of Our Buy&Build Growth Strategy for the Digatus Group, the Goal Is to Gain Additional Market Shares, Broaden Our Customer Base, and Particularly Strengthen Our Regional ‘Footprint’ in Augsburg. Our Focus Was Especially on the Strategic Expansion of Our Industry Focus on Church & Welfare, the Scaling of Our IT Managed Services, and a Continuous Team Building of Additional Highly Qualified IT Experts.

We Found What We Were Looking for Right on Our Doorstep, as We Were Already in the Same Building. The Regional Match Combined With the Complementary Areas in Technologies and Portfolio Aligned Almost Perfectly With Our Ideal Expectations. So It Quickly Became Clear to Us That We Wanted to Win Over PRODYNA’s Business Unit at the Augsburg Location for Our First Asset Deal.

“Our First Asset Deal Is a Perfect Fit for Both Companies. The Location Remains Unchanged, the Industry Focus Complements Perfectly, and the Employees Are Joining a Growing, Motivated, and Open-Minded Team. The Customers Will Continue to Be Served by the Same Team and Will Benefit Sustainably from the Advantages and Scalability of a Regionally Based Augsburg IT Service Provider.”

Daniel Bäumler – Digatus

With the Takeover of PRODYNA’s Business Unit by Digatus, the Interests of Both Companies Come Together Optimally.

Long-Term and Sustainable Success – How Will the Journey Continue?

As part of the asset deal, we are taking over PRODYNA’s employees in the business unit as well as the support of existing customers. For the new members of the digatus team, this only changes the office floor in terms of the company location. Now, the first priority is to get to know each other through intensive onboarding, learn from one another, and optimally integrate the new team members into our processes and structures. By taking over customer relationships, it is also important that everyone becomes thoroughly familiar with the new customers and projects.
In addition, we are in close exchange with the newly acquired customer base so that they continue to receive optimal support and can benefit from the new synergies. Our industry experts from the Church and Welfare sector will be available for consultation in the future and will contribute their expertise on the topic of digitalization.
The takeover of the existing service structures also allows us to focus more intensively on onsite services and optimize our own processes, for example, to achieve faster response times and service improvements.
We thank PRODYNA for the smooth execution of the asset deal and look forward to further expanding our partnership-based collaboration.
