During the 1-month IT due diligence at the beginning of the year, digatus subjected the target company’s IT landscape to a thorough examination, including:
- Analysis of the current IT situation
- Development of a potential IT target vision
- Cost, investment, and risk assessment
- Review of compatibility and integration possibilities for applications
Infrareal Holding will take over the 24-hectare property including buildings and infrastructure facilities, as well as some pharmaceutical production plants. The site in Orth, Austria, is a center of excellence for the pharmaceutical and life science industry, focusing on gene and cell therapy as well as biologics. Infrareal intends to use its long-standing experience in operating pharmaceutical sites to expand and further develop the location. In doing so, the company is pursuing its announced strategy to become one of the leading operators of pharmaceutical and biotech sites in German-speaking countries.

He has been working in the IT environment for almost 30 years, gaining experience in various roles and areas. Through his years of experience as a Service Manager, he knows the challenges and needs on the customer side. He has been applying this deep understanding and knowledge at digatus for more than eight years. As Head of BU IT M&A and Transformation, he and his team support all IT topics along the value chain of M&A projects. This includes due diligence, carve-out, and integration projects.
